MainStage Theater

For our 2009-2010 Season, Triad Stage presents five richly diverse theatrical productions and one holiday special in the 300-seat MainStage Theater we invite you to experience “A Season Together” with Picnic; Oleanna; Around the World in 80 Days; Ethel Waters: His Eye Is on the Sparrow and the world premiere of Providence Gap; plus the return of the smash holiday hit, Beautiful Star: An Appalachian Nativity.

We offers a variety of ticket options, including Season Passes, Individual Tickets, “Good Anytime” Passes, Special Offers, Group Rates and more.

MainStage productions perform on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m., with matinees on Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. (Some performance times are different for Beautiful Star: An Appalachian Nativity.)

Single Tickets

Tickets range in price from $16 – $42, depending on date and seat location. We also have a limited number of general admission $10 Gallery Seats for each performance.

2010-2011 Season Passes

2010-2011 Season Pass renewals are available online now, and by calling or visiting the Box Office at 336.272.0160 or toll-free at 866.579.TIXX. You will need your 8-digit Account number and your 8-digit Reservation number, both found on the renewal form that you received in the mail.
Friday, March 12 is the deadline to reserve your current seats.

Be a part of the process. Your response guides the artists as they prepare for Opening Night.
*New Thursday Preview performance. We've added another low-priced Preview for each production. The new performances are on September 10, October 22, February 11, April 15 and June 10.

Join our designers and production team for a behind-the-scenes discussion following the performance.
Series P2

Opening Night Friday
Come celebrate the official unveiling, and join the cast and company at the post-show party with food and drink in our lobby.
*Opening Nights have moved from Thursday to Friday. The new Opening Night 8:00 p.m. performances are on September 11, October 23, February 12, April 16 and June 11. If you are an Opening Night Season Passholder, we've automatically reserved your same seats for the new nights. If this is not convenient for you, please contact the Box Office as soon as possible.

Special Services

Wheelchair seating and assisted listening devices are available for MainStage productions. Please let the Box Office know of special seating requirements at the time of purchase so that they can best meet your needs.

There is one sign language interpreted performance for each MainStage production. Services are provided in partnership with Communication Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing of Greensboro. For tickets, call the Box Office at 336.272.0160 or 866.579.TIXX and ask for seating in the interpreted section.
